Life is like one big jigsaw puzzle. You have to pick up different pieces and hope that it will fit on the first try. If it won't, you have to pick another until everything fits perfectly. It has to fit perfectly, because if it won't, you will never see the entire picture, and that will mean failure. So don't force something that won't fit, because no matter how hard you try, if it is not meant for that particular space, it will never play its part.
It is difficult to put things together, especially if you are not sure how to make it work. But like solving a kids jigsaw puzzle , one has to be patient to figure things out. One also has to admit to himself that all the events in his life are part of his life's puzzle, it may not end up in the space where he want it to be but it is perfect in a space somewhere else. He has to keep in mind that his very own puzzle won't be complete without that particular piece. It is a significant part that molded him to be complete. It may not solve the puzzle right away, but it will give him a clue of how to sort things out.
Educational puzzles teach each person a valuable lesson in life. If one finds out that a piece doesn't seem to fit in the space he previously attempted to place it because it is blank, then he would not try to fit it there again. But most of the time what seems to be unfitting, does work perfectly. One is just so naïve to think that the space is intended for something so simple. A person keeps on figuring out why he can't complete the puzzle only to find out that it was because he neglected the simple parts. He realizes in the end that the simple piece he took for granted is the key to solve the entire puzzle.
Childrens puzzles also teach people about mistakes. If the previous strategy took too much time, he will less likely do the same strategy again. If he put together pieces that seem to fit but are not meant to be placed on those parts, he will most likely correct them even if it takes more time. This is because he knows that he will never solve the puzzle that way. The same with life, it is better to take the longer route if it gives you more meaning in life rather than taking the short cuts that does not give you much purpose.
So the next time you pick a piece of a puzzle, think of your own jigsaw puzzle. Have you managed to put all the pieces together? Is it giving you a clearer picture of what your life is? And if at times you fail, just think of it as a wrong piece being place at the wrong place and at the wrong time. But don't give up because all the pieces are there, you will surely find the right piece sooner or later. |
