Jigsaw puzzles, Animals in the Farm

Let your kids assemble several picture puzzles animals designed to show the various kinds of animals in the farm that they might not have seen at all in the flesh, being children raised in the city. It is one way of keeping them quiet all day while you are at work in the kitchen or else doing many other household chores you would not want any disturbance at all.

Now that the kids are on their long break from their schools keeping them under control could be one of your problems. They were not as troublesome before during the school days as you then had relative peace in the house from morning until the tykes were back in the afternoon after their classes.

Many moms at this time would be thinking up of so many ways to keep their broods tied up with busy schedules so there will not be so much noise and all kinds of childish complaints and whims that they have nothing to do, that they are bored, and so forth and so on. The jigsaw puzzles will be one tool you can use to answer all of these demands of the kids. A subject like the animals in the farm will interest them so much, that they will stick to the assembling of the puzzles long hours throughout the day. Maybe they will only take breaks from this activity when they take their meals.

At the lunch table, of course you can expect a myriad of questions on the wood jigsaw puzzles they are working on, especially because many of the farm animals that are beginning to form up in the pictures they are assembling are strange to them, not having seen them live before. You can have now an idea that the next out door trip you and Dad must plan for your family should be to a farm some distance from the city but easily reached by the family van.

That way lessons on the farm animals will be easy to give to the kids, while they spend the day romping around the farm among the animals.

It will also be a good idea to bring all the pictures into jigsaw puzzles the kids have on that trip to the farm, so they will have something to do in the evenings. The farm may not have the facilities yet found in the city, like the TV set, and the computer and the Internet.

Out in the farm, even during daytime when it gets so hot at noon, the kids may spend time assembling the photo puzzles under the shades of trees. Perhaps the animal they are assembling in the puzzle could be right next to them curiously eyeing what they are doing.
